Decentralization and local governance purpose to bring political decisions closer to citizens. PCC’s sector programs are implemented at both central and local levels, to build capacity of the respective authorities to manage their functions in the provision of public services. Decentralization brings about a range of interventions for authorities to manage present and future staffing needs and optimisation of service provision, organization and processes. Our services include but are not limited to the following: • Organizational and functional analyses • Strengthening municipal administration, financial management and service delivery • Capacity development and training measures for local government and public administration staff • Participatory planning processes • Assessment of Local government programmes and projects.
